How to prepare for TISSNET?

Following are the preparation strategies which you can follow to achieve your target score in TISSNET exam-

1. Strengthen your General Awareness

The General Awareness section is the make or break section of TISSNET. According to the latest pattern of TISSNET, there is a sectional cut off of 35% marks for this section only. This makes it an even more important section. Moreover, this section acts as your score booster. You can answer maximum questions correctly without spending much time. Therefore, it is advised to prepare extremely well for the General Awareness section. Read newspapers daily. Take notes of all the current affairs occurring around the world. You should also focus on static GK like Geography, Economics, History, Literature, and Business Awareness. Pay special attention to Business News and Awareness as it will help you in clearing your TISS-MAT.

2. Master the art of remaining Calm

Panic is your greatest enemy in cracking any exam. Many candidates have admitted that they have marked the wrong answer even after knowing the correct answer due to panic and tension. You should stay calm and focussed during the exam and even during the preparation phase. Make sure to mark all the questions correctly.

3. Take Mocks

Mocks help you to get acquainted with the exam pattern and conditions. They even help in assessing your preparation levels. Take as many mocks as you can to analyze your strengths and weaknesses and improve them accordingly.

4. Clear your basics

The sections other than General Awareness are quite easy as compared to other MBA entrance exams like CAT, XAT, IIFT, and much more. The questions in the exam generally test the basic understanding of the concepts. Solve TISSNET previous year question papers to get a basic understanding of the type and level of questions asked in the exam.

If prepared with a proper plan and right strategy, everyone can crack the TISSNET exam with ease. Work Hard and believe in your preparation.
