Post Graduate Diploma in Business Analytics (PGDBA) course is one of the most sought after analytics courses in India. It is provided by three premier institutes of India – ISI Kolkata, IIT Kharagpur, and IIM Calcutta. Each institute will teach the students essential skills for excelling in the Business Analytics domain. For shortlisting students for this course, the PGDBA exam is conducted every year. It is slightly different from the other MBA entrance exams. The questions asked in this exam are from higher mathematics topics, usually studied by students of science background in class 11th and 12th. This exam consists of a total of 50 questions to be completed in three hours.
The eligibility criteria for PGDBA is that the candidate must have completed the graduation of a minimum of 4 years from any science stream. The candidate should have secured at least 60% marks in his/her graduation. Also, candidates in their final year can take the PGDBA.
This exam consists of a total of 50 questions to be completed in three hours. For every correct answer, three marks are awarded. For every incorrect answer, one mark is deducted. There is no sectional time limit.

Verbal Ability – Reading Comprehension, Grammar/ correction of sentences.
Quantitative Skills- Algebra, Trigonometry, Arithmetic, Number Systems, Simple Interest/ Compound Interest, Profit & Loss, Probability, Permutations and Combinations, and basic aptitude maths, Euclidean Geometry, Calculus, and Matrices.
Logical Reasoning- Logical Connectives, Statements and Conclusions, Matching, Sequences.
Data Interpretation and Data Visualization- Data-driven questions
